  • No grades, no homework, no exams

  • Engaging, stimulating, fun classes


  • Convenient course lengths, ranging from single classes to 8 classes, and from 1½ hours to 2 hours in duration

  • Down to earth instructors who enjoy teaching older students
  • Primarily in person classes with select classes offered online via Zoom

  • University degree NOT required
  • No grades, no homework, no exams

We promote the value and availability of lifelong learning opportunities for 50+ adults. No degree required; no exams; no homework. SUG is affiliated with the Lifelong Learning Centre, University of Regina.

Be an active member of your learning community!

  • Participate in communications, education, or special events committees.


  • Help promote SUG activities through word of mouth, social media, and distribution of written materials.


  • Lend your hand at events such as the Christmas party, an open house, or the annual general meeting.
  • Become a class host to support the needs of the instructor and class participants.


  • Assist with set up and take down of tables and chairs for classes and meetings.


  • Provide technical support for classes including audio visual set up and IT support.
  • Participate in communications, education, or special events committees.


  • Help promote SUG activities through word of mouth, social media, and distribution of written materials.


  • Lend your hand at events such as the Christmas party, an open house, or the annual general meeting.
